Hello.
We made a new action, that works for 2D and 3D markers.
Download and import this script into your project.
Can you make an example of the way to grab the object so I can make the object variable be itself as I know of know way to do that as I can only find game objects, not objects?
Unfortunately, I did not understand, an example of what you need.
Please rephrase your message.
I need to be able to set the marker to gets its own index so I can effect itself later in the FMS.
When you create a marker, you can store it in a variable (Store Instance, type - Object), and use it later for interaction (in this case for getting index).
Looking for something to use during a loop action. That is a very limited way of doing it as you would need a create variable for every marker ever made. Plus that still doesn't let the marker know its own index unless you make the variable a global which is a bad option if you're running a loop on markers.
Need somthing that will seet and get its own index. In its own FMS.
Create marker
On the markers fsm get owner index set index to
I'm not saying make a variable for each marker.
I just showed how to use it.
You can get a marker by index.
You can get last active marker.
You can get index by marker (post #2).
You can make a loop. This is just one (or more) conditions.
If you need more, use 3D markers, that look like 2D markers.
In this case, you can add FSM / script to each marker and store the data that you need.
Yeah that works thank you sorry was looking at it totally backwards.
