Topic: Support for the Open Street Maps

We are making a game in which we are required to use a map, we have setup up our own server ( using Open street data) and for now we are using Jonathan Derrough plugin (https://github.com/jderrough/UnitySlippyMap), but it has next to no support and is a bit buggy.

So I just wanna know will the plugin support the map we have setup on AWS server(ec2@Ip/osm ). and does your plugin have any support for local caching?

Thank.

Cheers,
Mridul

Re: Support for the Open Street Maps

Hello.

You can use any server, if it can generate raster tiles (png / jpg) 256x256 pixels, in the projection WGS84 (Web Mercator or Ellipsoid).
If your server meets this requirement, then select «Provider - Custom», and specify URL.

By default, Online Maps does not cache the data.
But you can easily make caching using Online Maps API.
