You can do it.

Open the helper.
Show grid - ON.
Show best rect - ON.
Click Adjust the selected area.
Zoom in so that the grid matches the green frame.
Calculate how many tiles (cells) horizontally and vertically in the green frame.
Use these values for RWT / Count Terrains.

I've heard that square terrains have better performance
and some plug-ins (i.e. Gaia) only work with square terrains.
