Is it possible to cache the direction results while online then keep the results? Or store the coordinates of the path so we can have them stored somewhere to re-draw them without the internet?

Yes, you can have markers offline.
No, you can not have directions offline, because it uses Google Directions Webservice (or one of another web services), and of course will not work without the Internet.

First of all, I want to say thanks for the great asset. Very usefull indeed.

There is one things I need to find out before go full ahead to replace our current mapping system in our app.

We need to make sure that our client can use the map section even without an internet connection - much like the cached tileset.

So is there a way to have markers and directions offline ?
