5000 marker is a lot.
Each map redraw all markers sorted.
We will try to optimize it.

Currently, you can write your own marker manager that will add / remove markers to have only those markers that are really needed.

I have over 5000 2D markers on my map.  Even if I set all of them to disabled (enabled = false) then the map starts to lag when scrolling on mobile devices.  Disabled or enabled it doesn't seem to make a difference.  If I use around 1000 markers then the speed is more responsive.  Also it doesn't matter if I'm zoomed in and only 3 markers are on the screen at once.  Any idea on how to speed this up when using a lot of markers? 

Do I need to write a marker manager that adds/removes the markers to the main markers variable as the map pans around the world?  Maybe a pre-generated hash marker lookup for different quadrants?
